The Review of the Aboriginal and Dual Naming Policy Issues Paper of November 2017 refers to the perceived need for the policy to be more inclusive and to ‘the suggestions that have been made’ to enable organisations, groups and individuals other than the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre’s palawa kani program to nominate names for consideration by the Nomenclature Board.
