Unless you like wasting money on what the experts claim is better than this I tested overa dozen cars that Motor Trend always picks over Dodge cars. It corners and handles bumps well. I typically get about 26-27 miles to the gallon,sometimes as low as 24.5/city. My 2012 has 38,000 miles on it and drives like a dream! The Heater only blows warm air on the driver side of the vehicle and cold air on the passenger side. Perhaps something similar to the current Charger's. One sweet ride!One "expert" described the Boston Acoustics audio system as "decent". and I have about 50k miles now. It has gotten as many as 29.7/highway(possibly 31/highway). My vehicle is currently parked now and I am seriously consider trading this vehicle in for another one.

Use some of that money and put the tires you like on there:-)No reason not to buy this car. In Kansas it has really cool down in the temps. The iPod controls operate perfectly and are MUCH easier to useand live than Ford's SYNC! If value, comfort, styling and performance mean somethignto yoy, then go and drive everything else-then drive this car last.

The engine is fantastic.

The Avenger appears to have a much higher quality associated with it. Various censors or detectors that trigger the engine light, the ABS/traction/cruise control system, a misfiring cylinder, visor clip broke off, the entire control panel (lock/window switch) in the passenger side door came out, the vents were flopping closed . Pleased with its performance and all the money you saved on one of the industry's best kept secrets!
